How to create a Lead Gen Form template

This year, LinkedIn rolled out Lead Gen forms as a simple and intuitive means of collecting data from members interested in accessing content locked behind a sign-up page. Users will normally drop-off when having to fill in lots of details; however, the beauty of Lead Gen forms is that it auto generates user information from their LinkedIn profile. This makes it a lot easier to convert users as long as the ‘exclusive’ content (whitepaper, newsletter sign-ups, webinar) is compelling. Once the campaign is complete, the data collected can be exported or sent directly to the CRM or marketing automation platform of your choice, making the entire process hassle-free.

How to create a Lead Gen Form template:

Log into LinkedIn Campaign Manager and select the account you’d like to create Lead Gen Form templates for. Under “Account Assets”, click “Lead Generation Forms”.
